| being back in LA for a weekend just reminded me how much I miss the familiarity, the friends, the aura of the city I spent the best 4 years of my life in....*sigh* |

| phew...what a tiring weekend..staying out till 3 am both nights, doing the whole smithsonian thing w/ out of town guest, and just living it up after a 50 hour work week...phew...tiring life we lead... |

| Heisman #7 for USC, Reggie Bush.
I still can't believe this guy was in one of my classes..50 years from now I'll be able to tell my grandkids that I was in the same class as an NFL hall of famer/Heisman winner. And I'm secure enough in my manhood to admit that I had to choke back tears when he was saying his acceptance speech. It's kinda hard to describe unless you've seen it yourself, but if you did, you know what I mean.
Now to top things off, I really wish the Houston Texans would stop intentionally losing games so they can draft him and let my 49ers get the first pick in the draft.  |
